Buses from Neily to San Isidro, Costa Rica

If you are from San Isidro and did return border crossings through Paso Canoas earlier in 2017, you will have been able to get trips from San Isidro to Paso Canoas. However, Tracopa stopped going as far as Paso Canoas. Instead, their buses started to go only as far as Ciudad Neily when traveling from San Isidro. The implication of this is that, once arrived in Ciudad Neily, travelers needed to either get a TransGolfo bus (or taxi) to and from Paso Canoas before getting another Tracopa bus from Ciudad Neily to San Isidro.

If you bought proof of onward travel from Panama (See step 2 of the instructions for crossing the Paso Canoas border to extend your Costa Rica tourist visa) and wish to exchange the ticket you bought at Tracopa's Paso Canoas office for the Neily to San Isidro trip, arrive at the bus station in Neily in advance to get the ticket exchanged. The process takes a few minutes and you may encounter a line of other travelers. 

Unfortunately, you will lose the difference in the value of the ticket as the company's inflexible computer system does not allow refunds or an exchange of a much costlier ticket for 2 cheaper ones.
